RATTLEHUB is pleased to announce that it has joined the Financial Data Exchange (FDX). FDX is a non-profit organization dedicated to unifying the financial industry around a common, interoperable and royalty free standard for the secure access of data—the FDX API. RattleHub is now part of an elite membership of 140+ organizations that are working to collectively transition the financial services ecosystem to a modern, transparent and secure API-based data sharing approach.
In today’s consumer-centric, digitally driven era, some of the most notable names in the financial data ecosystem are coming together to help consumers and businesses make informed financial decisions by sharing their financial data safely and conveniently. The FDX API is in various stages of implementation, including the Bank of Montreal, Capital One, Equitable Bank, Interac Corp., Intuit Canada, Mastercard, National Bank of Canada, TD Bank Group, Visa, and Xero in North America and is already being used to provide financial data access to roughly 12 million consumers in the United States.
FDX represents an industry-wide movement to enhance consumer and business control of financial data, through its FDX API and technical standards that prioritize the group’s Five Core Principles of Financial Data Sharing – Control, Access, Transparency, Traceability and Security. These Principles are all underscored by our Estate Data Platform, Permyssion.
“RattleHub is excited to be part of the FDX ecosystem where industry innovation in global open banking API standards will be essential to the financial service delivery’s future” says Gary Goetch, RattleHub CTO and co-founder.
